Three local artists are hosting a virtual Festive Arts & Craft event to enable people to buy unique items they’ve created from the comfort of their own homes.
PAOS members Kerry Richardson (designer jeweller), Brian Withall (glass artist) and Christine Withall (ceramics) decided that people should continue to have the opportunity to enjoy their festive shopping experience “virtually” with the use of technology via their computer, tablet or mobile phone.
Kerry said “More and more people are using technology to buy things and feel confident and comfortable shopping online. However, we appreciate that when people are buying arts and crafts they usually like to see them close up and find out more about the items before they buy. This event has been designed to give everyone the opportunity to select a 45 minute time slot during which they can “see” what is on offer, chat to the people that made them and most of all have a fun time. We’re encouraging people to have a drink ready at the start of their appointment, whether it’s a hot drink, a glass of bubbly or a tipple of their choice as they won’t need to drive home afterwards!
“They can also invite their friends and shopping buddies to join them too via What’s App, Zoom or Teams. Anyone can join in, no matter where they are in the world.”
When: 10am – 4pm Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd November 2020
