Mary Kemp

Colourful paintings, big and small, inspired by our wonderful world. Prints and cards too, and a very warm welcome.

You might know me for my many paintings of dogs and the seaside based on the north Norfolk coast. And I still paint those things. But this year I have been working on a very new series of paintings, all ready for the start of our open studio for the weekends of 6th/7th and 13th/14th of July.

I’ve posted sneak peeks of this new work on my facebook and instagram¬†feeds , so do have a look.

You’ll find paintings related to all the wonderful things and places I’ve been privileged to experience recently. And yes, that does include the occasional seaside or two, plus arid places and leafy green rolling hills.

As usual my workplace studio is open for all to see. I display original paintings, prints and my famous cards. I’d love you to look round my garden because the sun will be shining each day.

Mosaic artist Shelagh is with me for the third year running, and we look forward to welcoming you to our contribution to Peterborough Artists’ Open Studios 2019!
