I am a self taught artist and enjoy creating art of animals, nature and landscapes. Mostly working in pastels and coloured pencils, or oil and acrylic paints on wood, I|also love using new mediums. I take commissions for pet portraits, scenery and buildings, murals, furniture painting and wooden signs. I work from clients’ and my own photos, which I sometimes combine to get the final pose.
I am pleased to be taking part at Unique Cottage Studios Spalding (https://www.uniquecottagestudios.co.uk) for this year’s Open Studios, along with many other artists.
My work is on display and for sale at Pearl & Ruby in Spalding (https://www.pearlandruby.co.uk).
For PAOS 2019, I am working on the theme of ‘Childhood Memories’, producing artwork in pastel pencils and oils of well-loved toys of past and present generations. I am happy to take commissions for this special theme.

Artists of Crowland
I run a Facebook page for artists in my local area and a weekly art group at Crowland Community Hub
Our club is for local artists of any ability that enjoy painting, drawing and getting involved with exhibiting and selling their work, local events and charities. We have had artists in to demonstrate techniques and have learnt from each other. Many members have tried new mediums, producing some great work. Some of the group’s art is on display and for sale at the Crowland Hub.
We are organising the Crowland Abbey Festival of Art Competition and Exhibition November 2019.
