I make functional, mainly hand thrown, stoneware pottery using simple and contemporary designs from my small garden studio, the dugout. Utilising a variety of different stoneware clays I enjoy exposing the bare clay where possible to promotean organic look. In addition to making handthrown pottery I create abstract pictures in mixed media. For Open Studios (weather permitting) there will be pit fire, raku and weaving demonstrations. Ample free parking,refreshments, cakes and plenty of outside seating. Walk the mowed path through the re-wilded meadow trail to view the indigenous plants and insects.
