Morning has Broken Original Etching by Kay Clark

black bird on post

This beautiful friendly blackbird shows his presence most mornings in my garden. Along with his female partner they have raised their family for a couple of years. One of the most common UK birds, its mellow song is a favourite. Blackbirds can live about 4-years and will return to the same garden.

This etching was printed in a single colour of ink and his eye and beak was hand painted in watercolour to finish the print.
