I am an artist and printmaker, My inspirations and main themes are the shapes and patterns found in nature and the man-made world. I like a nice mis-shapen tree, old fence posts or broken gates. I work mainly from my own photographs, usually taken in the countryside around my home in East Anglia. I love drawing with a pencil: I think it is a wonderfully versatile tool, but I also like using pastels and charcoal. I paint in acrylics, oil and watercolour. I also enjoy playing with colour and texture by mixing media and making collages. My prints are normally linocuts or drypoint.
