Exciting times for artists in Peterborough this year as the launch of PAOS 2024 takes place on Friday 21st June with a preview event and PAOS artists’ social 5-7 pm at the Peterborough Artists Open Studio Exhibition at Peterborough Museum & Art Gallery in Gallery 1.
Once there, open exhibition goers are given a showcase of the diverse and exciting work being created in artists’ studios all over the PE postcode area. Visitors can then choose which artists they would like to learn more about. There are large maps provided in the gallery to help plan open studio trips on the art trails around Peterborough and beyond.
All work by PAOS artists in the museum exhibition will be for sale, there will also be artists on hand to answer any questions about the sculpture, 2d art, printmaking, ceramics and jewellery (for example) on display in Gallery 1. We hope you find creative work to enjoy and would like to make plans to experience the spaces and processes artists reveal in opening their studios for PAOS 2024.

Look out for the next PAOS exhibition in Gallery 3 this October, which promises to reveal the results of some of the more extreme and daring art made in 2024.
