Paper2pearls sums up the two materials I work with most when creating my jewellery – though rarely do I use the two together, and sadly I have not discovered a way of turning paper into pearls!

Paper jewellery

Gilli's Flowers is my range of jewellery and gifts made by using paper from unwonted or "dead" copies of classic and well-known books.  What marks it unique is the range of books I use, designs related to specific books and how my customers are able to choose pieces made from books which are meaningful. I also make bridal headpieces and pieces from vintage sheet music. I hand fold the origami elements by hand and finish them using several coats of top quality waterproof varnish.

Cultured pearl jewellery

Glover and Greenwood celebrates the unique beauty of pearls and the variety of cultured pearls available today. Most of my pieces are made using Chinese freshwater pearls in all their amazing variety of types shapes and colours but I also have a smaller range of pieces using Japanese Akoya, Tahitian black and South Sea pearls. I design and make all pieces myself using a range of techniques including traditional hand knotting. I have a bespoke bridal range and I'm always happy to accept commissions.

I also offer a restringing or reknotting service.

I have my own jewellery studio in Yaxley handily positioned at the bottom of my garden. I am fully insured and a member of the Guild of Jewellery Designers.

DEE-ZYN JEWELLERY - HAND DESIGNED UNIQUE JEWELLERY
Dee-zyn Jewellery was created by myself Deanne Echarri back in 2008. I have been designing and creating silver jewellery for over 12 years now. After completing a silversmith course back in 2010, I decided to explore PMC (precious metal clay) and completed a diploma in this... However, I still felt as though I was not quite there with what I wanted to produce.

Finally I found Wire Sculpture Jewellery, creating twists and swirls to shape and forge the wire to encase gemstones within, thus creating completely unique one-of-a-kind pieces using only Silver wire and small tools. NO soldering!!!

Consequently I fell completely in love with this, and went on to complete 6 Master Class Courses learning the skills and techniques needed to become an expert in the field.

As a result, I now design and craft quality silver and copper wire jewellery using precious and semi-precious stones from around the world. Each piece is unique and crafted by hand using master wire sculpting techniques.

I am an international seller, selling online as well as at craft fayres, wedding fayres, trade fayres and galleries.

DEE-ZYN WIRE JEWELLERY SCHOOL
Dee-zyn Jewellery also runs a Wire Jewellery School, empowering other people to have a go and learn to create their own beautiful jewellery using the same techniques that I fell in love with. There are many different workshops and courses, providing the knowledge and physical skills needed to create different styles of jewellery.

My motto is that 'everyone can make jewellery' which I wholeheartedly believe. The classes are suitable for all ages and abilities from complete beginners to those looking at learning new techniques or brushing up on their former jewellery making skills. Almost all classes run on weekday evenings and weekends and prices start from just £15.

Dee-zyn Jewellery School is a fast growing independent jewellery training centre based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. With over 30 classes running each year from beginners to Masterclass, there are plenty to choose from. The classes are run from our fully-equipped jewellery studio in a beautiful garden setting. There is something at Dee-zyn Jewellery School for everyone.

JEWELLERY MAKING TASTER WORKSHOPS
Each day of PAOS, there will be taster sessions at 13.00 each day where you can have a go at making an item of jewellery.  These will be £5.00 which include all materials (wire and gems), and include the use of tools.

Example taster sessions will be:

 	Earrings
 	Ear Climbers
 	Mini Wire Tree of Life
 	Crystal rings

Hello! My name is Shalini Austin and I am a self taught metalsmith. I make Copper Things. In my home studio and workshop in Stamford, Lincolnshire I work with copper sheet and wire and handcraft Sculptures, Giftware & Jewellery.
For several years I have collaborated with Felt Artist Eve Marshall and make sculptures and giftware. As a result of our art collaborations we now regularly exhibit together at events too.
I also collaborate with my husband who took up palletwood upcycling during the first lockdown in 2020 when he could not go to work. I make components for his pieces and also use a lot of palletwood stuff in my work.
During Peterborough Artists Opens studios Eve and I will be exhibiting and demonstrating at a venue possibly in Stamford. We will confirm the venue once Covid restrictions end and we are able to speak to venues again.

I am a self taught artist who loves the freedom of  using various medias in art. I am at my happiest when I find vintage items that can be incorporated into my work whether that be an old book, fabric or haberdashery.  In the current climate where we are all keen to help the environment and move away from the throw away society that the world has become my interest has turned to altering disused items from their original purpose into art works.

I make one-off pieces of jewellery in glass, silver, copper, silk and semi-precious stones. Interested by the materials and their varying and fabulous qualities of colour, texture and form, I take my inspiration from the natural world and historic art movements.

At Art School I trained as a designer and now specialise in Jewellery Design and Mixed Media work.

Fabric forms the base of much of my work along with stitch and embellishments to create art works based on nature.  My work is continually evolving and changing and now experimenting with goldwork embroidery. I also manipulate fabric and stitch to create wearable art, continually developing processes for unique items.
These small items are made from Shibori pleated silk ribbon attached to small pieces of slate collected whilst on holiday.  The silk is embellished with hand beaded detail using natural gem stones and glass beading.  The are small pendants or brooches.

I have always spent time making things. As a child I made doll's clothes after learning to knit and sew alongside my  mother. As an adult I continued to make clothes, bags and jewellery. At Teacher Training College my personal study subject was ceramics. Skills I acquired back in the seventies are now in full use again in my work with metal clay.

I started making silver jewellery in 2009 when I embarked on a City & Guilds Silver Jewellery Making course. It wasn't long before I discovered silver metal clay. What an amazing material; I couldn't believe my luck - to be able to make pieces in clay, fire them and they turn into metal...fine silver. Wow! This material has inspired me!

I specialise in making free-form hollow beads and many of my pieces contain one or more of these bespoke beads. I use silver metal clay to make pendants and also charms for earrings and bracelets in conjunction with sterling silver wire and sheet.

I make jewellery that I would like to wear myself and what a joy to create striking individual pieces that others love too!

Take a look at https://www.peterboroughgiftshop.com/collections/lesley-adolphson-jewellery where you can see and purchase some of my work.
