I am a watercolour/mixed media artist painting mainly landscapes. I like to paint wet-into-wet and find watercolour and also acrylic ink perfect for this technique. I am inspired by the trees in winter with the sun shining through the branches making patterns on the lakes or woodland. Since moving to Longthorpe I have had the opportunity to focus on the rural landscape so close by which has fired my imagination. I usually generate the composition in my head with a photo to help and then back to the studio to paint.
Do come and view my paintings and then feel free to sit in the garden a while. Drinks and light refreshments provided.
