Entries are accepted in the form of painting, drawing, photography, prints, sculpture and applied arts. Installation and performance art will be considered, but will depend on available gallery space. Each artist can submit a maximum of 3 works.
This year’s judges are Katherine Wood, Freelance Curator and Former Director of First Site, Caroline Worthington, Director of the Royal Society of Sculptors and Aoife Ruane, Director of Highlanes Gallery Drogheda, Ireland.
First Prize: £1200
Second Prize: £750
Third Prize: £500
Emerging Artist (Entrants submitting work for the first time): £250
Maximum sizes of work(s)
2D art: 2m x 2m incl. frame.
3D art, sculpture and floor based work: 2.5m x 2.5m x 2.5m (w x d x h)
Work must be deconstructed into pieces no larger than 1.1m (w) x 2m (h)
The deadline for this year’s Open Exhibition entry form submissions will be 22nd February.
Work will be submitted on the 1, 2 & 3 March.
