Artists over 18 in Peterborough and the surrounding areas are eligible to apply for full membership. Each artist, whether exhibiting individually or as part of a group, needs to have their own full membership to exhibit as part of PAOS.

Junior Memberships and Charity groups £45

To cover brochure costs for a single advert, Junior memberships are available as a flat rate of £30 for either individual under 18’s wishing to exhibit or groups of under 18’s. It is conditional that the junior member/s must only exhibit at a venue where an adult is present during opening times and the adult is willing to accept full liability for the Junior Member and any work exhibited e.g. This can be either in an education environment, as a parent or guardian, or as an arts organiser holding appropriate liability insurance.

Membership runs from 1st March to 28th February yearly

You can include more images, videos, website links and further details that will help promote your work. You can also share your page to social media at anytime

  • Provision of promotional material to help you market your event
  • Online resources to help make your event a success
  • Updates on local art events, news and opportunities
  • Social gatherings and access to a friendly local art community
  • Full voting rights and an invitation to the Annual General Meeting

Step One:

Step Two:

Complete the PAOS 2024 application form available from November and submit it using the submit button at the end if the form before 14th February 2024 11.59pm

Step Three Payment:

  • Pay by bank transfer or by cheque to the ‘Peterborough Artists Open Studios Group‘ account at Metro Bank  (bank details: sort code: 230580    account number: 26056254 – please put your name in the reference box).   
  • Alternatively if you use paypal you can send a payment to paospeterborough@gmail.com

Step Four:

  • Once payment has been received with your application and been approved you will be sent an email confirming this by the membership team,  subsequently you will then be sent a link and information on how to set up your page on this website. Returning existing PAOS members will already be set up on the website and will be able to carry on developing their web pages year on year.  Please note that while existing members new application form data will be checked against their existing data to make sure phone numbers and emails etc are up to date, the Artist’s webpage content and images are the artists responsibility. Web workshops are provided throughout the year to help artists learn how to edit and maintain their own pages.

To apply for PAOS Membership you will have needed to have completed and submitted the application form before the yearly deadline which is February 14th with membership running 1st March to end of February the following year.

Unfortunately no refunds can be offered after the brochure production has begun (usually 1st March each year) to ensure print costs are covered.
